You almost need a laundry bag so that the Criss crosses down the front do not get stuck in the washer agitator. The strings in the front are extremely long when you get them and the best thing to do it honestly is to tie them where you want them and a knot and then cut the rest off. If you're going in between sizes pick the smaller size as it is very stretchy. Had I not had the problems with it holding up due to laundering and getting stuck in the washer I would have definitely rated a five star.
