Because I'm smaller on the top and carry my weight from my waist down especially in the belly, hips and butt...when it comes to dresses I generally only need an Excel or a 1X. So I took a risk and I bought the 3x in this one and another one they're basically the same style just a different print and I probably could have done with the 2X. Especially cuz of the the top part across the chest. It's a little baggy at the side where my boobs are and a little bit of room in the back as well.... But fits my belly and everywhere else below the waist. I love this pattern....I just wish they had of carried the whole print around the whole dress. The back part of the dress is just plain black. But I still give it a positive rating because the material is nice, light and slinky...and good price ☺️ and luv the pattern 🦋
